On the 27th of April, 9th and 23rd of May, Polish-Ukrainian Security Panels were held online, entitled The Russian Invasion in Ukraine and its Consequences for Ukraine and International Security. The panels were organised by the University of Wrocław and the Institute of International Studies together with the University of Lviv and the International Security and Partnership Center in Ukraine.

During the conference, Polish and foreign experts from research centres and universities were able to exchange views on the armed conflict in Ukraine and its escalation in the military dimension. Other issues raised include Russian disinformation in the context of military operations in Ukraine, NATO's military activity against Russian aggression in Ukraine, as well as the consequences of the war in Ukraine for other security areas- economic, environmental or cultural.


The first panel “Implications of the conflict for the security of Ukraine and international security” was discussed by the following speakers:
